Children's Parliament Celebration Evening
The Children’s Parliament team came in to work with our Primary 6 and Primary 5/6 classes. A few weeks ago, Shannon McCunnie, Dean Drummond, Josh McWhirter and Louis Rose went on to work more closely with the team alongside other children from other schools in the East of the City and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Part of the work was looking at developing confidence and self-esteem and looking at aspirations. The children went on to make 3D Papier Mache Models of themselves doing the job they want to do when they are older. The models are on display in public buildings throughout Glasgow at the moment but we hope to have them in school on display in our own foyer soon.
As you would expect, the Children worked hard and were a credit to themselves, their families and the school. Well done children!
